Thankful

We feel so blessed. Hurricane Ike passed us by on Saturday. The outer bands of destruction stayed just a few miles east of our home. We only had a little bit of rain and some breezes.

So many people lost everything in this storm. The scenes of destruction along the coast and in east Texas make us especially thankful that we are safe and sound today.
